    Pink Floyd (Official Thread)

For me Pink Floyd hit their stride from Meddle onward, when they grew into the band that I loved. The early stuff is okay, but I rarely listen to those albums I prefer the prog era albums over the psychedelic ones.

    RIP Casey Kasem

I'll never forget his voice both on radio broadcasts and as the voice of Shaggy from the original Scooby Doo cartoon show. :rip: Casey.

"US rock scene has never recovered from grunge"- Rob Zombie

I think he summed up what happened in the US music scene very well, and he's right about staging a massive show and keeping your fans happy. He should sign up with Arthur Fogel, easily the most successful promoter in the music business right now, his artists always make a lot of money.

Jeff Lynne to perform ELO songs with orchestra at comeback show

Good question Billy it would depend on a host of factors including health/timing/personal issues between members.:hm: But if Sting and Copeland can manage to do a complete world tour without killing each other then anything is possible. I never realized till watching a documentary about the...

    Pink Floyd (Official Thread)

It's kind of a fitting title for Water's last album while he was in the band "The Final Cut" which in the end wound up being him 'cut' out of Pink Floyd. It is a very dark album, but it's not surprising when you listen to Roger's solo work they are in the same vein. One of my friends is almost...

Cloudy with rain, cool and grey overcast right now with the odd blue patch of sky peeking through. Supposed to be like this all weekend my grass is starting to look like a hayfield but it's been to wet to cut for over a week now.

Is anyone experiencing unusual things on CRF?

The forum kicked me out yesterday morning and there were a few people who complained about glitches/anomalies they experienced as well. I have sent it up the ladder to Shaggy but he's never here anymore so I can't say when things will be looked into or fixed.

Justin Bieber Singing 'One Less Lonely N*****'

It's not the population at large MW, it's his fan base that drive's Beeb's so you are talking about millions of young teenage girls who have fixated on him for a few years now. I reserve my comments for his boorish behavior during his day to day life I could care less about his music, in fact...

    Confirmed!! Kinks reunion

I'm waiting for the inevitable implosion sorry but the drama between Ray and Dave is never going to end while both of them are breathing. Last I heard Dave was hurting financially, and Ray thought that was funny and rebuffed him when he suggested getting the Kinks back together again. I'm...

Justin Bieber Singing 'One Less Lonely N*****'

Don't worry too much QKR, he will fade like almost every teenybopper idol before him and his music will be forgotten soon enough while the Beatles, Zeppelin and other great bands are still relevant. :D Nothing Beebs does surprises me, he's a *****!
