Darkest and most evil sounding band of the 70s?

No DragonQuest....Iam in total agreement that THROBBING GRISTLE were the industrial pioneers and their sounds/songs were pure evil. I remember a few of theirs gave me the right creeps......a song about the Moors murderers I recall
Another pioneering band from the 70s also come to mind SUICIDE...Check them out.
Also I agree when it came to rock/metal BLACK SABBATHs Tony Iommi riffs were pure evil/doom ..... :bow:

I agree about Iommi he is a God and although I think Sabbath is a better band Throbbing Gristle were much colder, harsher, and inhuman. In some ways TG make Slayer look tame.
