Obviously all these bands were/are great. But why no mention of the absolutely great Small Faces. One only has to see the fab clip of them currently running in Sounds of the 60s on the history channel(freeview) doing Song of The baker. You can forget about the shambolic Faces that followed or even humble pie. Marriott may have been difficult but he made it great.
Also what about Rod Stewarts greatest outing ie with the Jeff Beck Group . You could definitely consider was this his finest hour

I've always liked Herman's Hermits. My Mom had a couple albums I played a bunch.

On one hand I'm surprised the "Dave Clark 5" aren't mentioned by more folks.

The appeared on "Ed Sullivan" more than any of the other British Invasion bands, plus they had 17 Billboard Top-40 hits.

On the other I kind of understand because their music wasn't available commerciallly for about 20 years, so they sort of dropped of the radar.

Virtually no mention of "The Honeycombs" either who had both a million record seller in "Have I the Right" and one of the first popular bands with a female drummer.

I love all those bands. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones are my favorites but I would be lost without having all their influences. They're why I love music so much

@scottybaboon

not everybody likes everything. To each their own. Sticky Fingers is hands down my favorite Stones album. I'm trying to work on some stuff with that feel. I listen to it all the time on my way to Maine around 3:00am. It's a great feeling to hear it at that time.
