Went with Lighthouse,,,some nice piano and guitar lead near the end.
BST is a better 'radio' song with a stronger hook but not as interesting to me.
IMHO early Chicago is better than both.,,,,,especially the first 3 albums.

IMHO early Chicago is better than both.,,,,,especially the first 3 albums.
You hit it on the nail Dr. Wu.. early 70's groups.. or just plain FM radio pre pop groups, was copy cating Chicago sounds.. There was a whole "Individual" wave going on, but radio stations were pressing for a popular sound or steering it in a G rated listener atmosphere suitable for all ages..

My favorite jazz rock band next to Chicago then was If.
Like Chicago they were adventurous on their early lps.The first 4 are all good.

Like Chicago they were adventurous on their early lps.The first 4 are all good.
This was a first chance hearing... IF..
