Spooky Tooth - "I Am The Walrus" - Mike Kellie (1947-2017) on drums. RIP, Mike. Maybe not killer drumming but very competent and appropriate drumming, in my opinion.
Your video featured Claypools other drummer. And I forget his name but he can beat out a nice beat..Bryan "Brain" Mantia - Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains - Jam
P.S. Those other guys in the band aren't slouches either.
You are probably right about it being Bryan since the whole Claypool Buckethead thing and he was there when that was going on.."Your video featured Claypools other drummer."
Are you sure? Looks like "Brain" to me. Anyway, great drumming nonetheless.
Cool tune, I've never heard that before. Love jam sessions like this.Bryan "Brain" Mantia - Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains - Jam
P.S. Those other guys in the band aren't slouches either.
From what I remember, growing up in the 80's, was Alex seemed to get ripped mostly because of his lack of snare, or that his snare didn't sound authentic (processed sound?)... or am I remembering that incorrectly?Alex get's alot of shit for his drumming but hell.. This song to me proves he can rip it up.. Especially at the end when he cranks it up!!
Since I mentioned Hot For Teacher, I think it's worthy of posting here (not sure if anyone else has yet or not):
