Not that I deny they are guitarists of note in their own right but there are far too many guitarist I personally would place above them on my own list.

I like Lee and Gallagher but if you're talking about actual influence then it would be a big argument over the other 4 with probably no winner.

RORY GALLAGHER who was admired by Jimmy Page amongst other musician's of his era.
Jeff Beck was always f**king boring and made a load of s**t records as far as I'm concerned.
Alvin Lee I liked him a lot especially his TEN YEARS AFTER records from the late 1960s & early/mid 1970s a pity he died when he did.
Peter Green in his days as a Bluesbreaker & in Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac was always a better blues guitarist than Clapton was as far as I'm concerned (and many others do as well).
Eric Clapton again he produced a load of boring records except for when he was in Cream and Derek & the Dominos but overall what a waste of a talent!.
Jimmy Page I liked the recordings he was on as a 'session guy' during the 1960s rather than his LED ZEPPELIN band.

Ok, this time I'm gonna choose 
Rory Gallagher for me.
Jeff Beck makes a lot of music that I don't like, as well as some I think is amazing.
Clapton - again, plenty by him I'm not into, as well as stuff I am.
Green - spent too long away from the game, not enough catalogue to choose from. I think his playing may have developed more if he hadn't been away from it all for so long.
Alvin Lee - haven't really heard anything by him
Jimmy Page - hmmm, difficult one. Comes very close.
But nope, Rory is top for me. Probably something to do with my love for blues, which Rory has done more of than Jimmy. Also, Rory was a great frontman, a guitarist's guitarist, and seemed somehow to come across as almost a friend, whereas Jimmy always seemed a bit aloof from his audience, too much of the superstar trip, intentional or not. Rory just seemed so enthusiastic about it all. I do wish Page had done more stuff after Zep though, seems he pretty much sat on his laurels after them.
