They already have... the level of secret technology is far beyond anything they talk about in public.

Super ants was just a joke I'm sure but tiny drones shaped like insects already exist and are a far less complex task to create than the process of creating a living , functional walking talking , clone.

Well, yes I've heard of it....very scary stuff...uncontrollable but like all uncontrollable tech, It will backfire on their inventors sooner or later.
