Cinderella was one of the best hair metal bands with a very particula sound. In my opinion all his cd's are fantastic, but i think that his perfect cd was "still climbing". It was the most mature work, Keifer sang less forced, and the songs was more elaborate, a super perfect production and his most beautiful power ballad "Throught the rain". With this cd they adapted at the new times, but all know the tragic history with the appearance of Nirvana and the death of these bands.
The music industry was very unfair with these bands, in the 90's they took a lot of fantastic works, "still Climbing", "Motley with Corabi", "Dysfunctional of Dokken", "Pull of Winger"... All these cd's could shared their success with the new Grunge sound. Why not? Why only alternative rock?

Cinderella is one of the few bands that all his cd's are very good!!

I've always thought that this would just be another cheesy hair metal band, but I've just listened to some of their songs here, and indeed - they are actually good!
The vocals remind me a bit of Steven Taylor and especially in "Shake Me". (Also, this riff sounds like Aerosmith I think.) Am I the only one?

I rather like the Aerosmith-influence, but you might be not surprised about that... :p

Night Songs is very cool song! I'm checking the album now.

My question for you Joker is...if you have it...what do you think of it? I ask this because I DO value your opinion on a lot of music & I don't own this one yet so ....

I like Cinderella, I seen them twice in the 80's opening for David Lee Roth & opening for AC-DC & both shows were great. I also have their first 2 albums & Tom Kiefer ' s solo album which I like a lot. My favorite tune though is their cover of Move Over from that Stairway to Heaven/Highway to Hell tribute album.
