A really dark, heavy sound on this song. I wonder what the rest will be like. I guess I'll find out around May 27.

A couple new members since the last album.

Heavier vocals from Andrea too, I always liked him as a counterpoint to Cristina.

Yeah his vocals are extremely underrated. Their albums where he was a bigger part were always better.

well, the album has been published today... and I am listening to it on Spotify...
I have to say that I like it...
even if I don't usually like Andrea Ferro's vocals, I still like Cristina's and the music...
It is all well thought and balanced...
Pleasant and good album to listen to!
I'm happy because "Broken Crown Halo" was horrible to me.
Delirum is definetely a step forward.

^ See, I liked Broken Crown Halo and Dark Adrenaline. They weren't quite as good as their early work, but after Shallow Life, they were a definite return to form.

And I know I'm going to like Delirium. Maybe it's got an influx of energy from the new members that comes through in the music.

I like Andrea's vocals as a counterpoint to Cristina's, but I wouldn't say he's a great vocalist. He works with this type of music.

I'm going to agree with this. I think Andrea's vocals are damn near terrible at times, but somehow they fit into the Lacuna Coil sound and at this point, the band wouldn't feel like Lacuna Coil without him.

I've mentioned earlier that I think "Broken Crown Halo" is the bands most consistent record for quite a while, so my expectations are quite high for "Delirium". Unfortunately, I still don't have a copy. Should drop next week then. I guess I should have pre-odered it online. Oh well! :woot:

As good as Delirium and Broken Crown are, they will never come close to albums like Comalies and Unleashed Memories. At the same time I'm glad they don't try to either because they're good in their own right. Delirium I have to admit though has more direction to it.

Take Me Home is my favourite. Certain catchy nature to it I dig.

Agreed, Delirium is as good or a little better than the last 2 albums. A few extremely stand-out tracks, and the rest are typically great LC songs.

I was a little surprised to find both the standard and bonus tracks digipack at an FYE the other day, so I sprung for the 14 tracker.

I finally got my copy, the digipak with 3 bonus tracks. I haven't had time to listen to it yet, but I was annoyed when I found out that the booklet is glued to the digipak. Can't record labels finally stop doing that? :banghead:

^ It's the first time I've seen a booklet glued down like that. In digipacks, they're usually inside the front cover, or in the center in the case of 2 CD's.
