Despite Jeff's undoubted powers as a musician and producer he has been taken by surprise by the resurgence in popularity ELO has enjoyed. The gig at Hyde Park last year was a turning point. He has said that, before the gig, he was worried that few people would turn up. But it was a great success for him and it was soon after that he decided to work on a new album, and go on the road.
