Hey TT aren't they back together again? I know they did a reunion tour and wondered if that was it or are they going to record another album?

yeah they've been touring on and off in the recent years and there's talk of them going back into the studio to record a new album but i don't think its anything official

The last interview I read Kim Deal said there was zero chance of The Pixies recording again, at least with her in the band. Deal said she likes playing the old stuff live, but at this point in her life she has no interest in butting heads with Frank Black in the studio again.

yeah i don't blame her. i think it would be a disaster for them to try and record again

Who is the single most important member of the band?

It's Frank Black's band, IMO, but they wouldn't have been the same without Deal or Joey Santiago.

i agree, both of those members are really important but the most important member is easily Black. he's got the whole sound. without him they would merely be a tribute band
