It was hard going through a ton of great 70s albums but I stand by Powerage. Every song on it is memorable and the production was better because it was not ****ing Lange polished.

This can and will change but right now I'm feeling this album....

What Lou crafted on this album was groundbreaking for it's time and with David Bowie and Mick Ronson refining and focusing what he had envisioned, you have a team of three that put together an album that is just as good 40 years later now as it was upon release.

Really Zombeels...that is a very unique choice but I like Klaatu, the debut, the album you posted and Magentalane as well very underrated band.

I would say my opinion of the best album of the 70's would have to be....
Some Girls by the Rolling Stones! Plenty of variety on that album Disco(Miss You), pop(Beast of Burden), Country(Faraway Eyes), or dirty in your face Rock & Roll(When the Whip Comes Down, Respectable, Lies)
All around Great Album!

I'll have to change my choice from Dark Side to Animals. What a phenomenal album! Not a weak moment from start to finish!
