True......but Xandria completely changed their whole sound, IMO. To be totally fair, I really didn't give Neverworld's End a good listen.

Both of those vids/bands are good. Exactly the kind of music I like to listen to.

What I have been enjoying lately is "beauty and beast" vocals. I have been checking out a couple bands that do this type vocals....

Theatre of Tragedy

Their first two albums are excellent. But I prefer the 2nd album, Velvet Darkness They Fear.

Der Tanz Der Schatten

The first Xandria single with Dianne van Giersbergen. I'd have to hear the whole album (and I will), but this sounds a little more like their earlier work.

The second track & first official video from Xandria's Sacrificium.

Way more epic than Dreamkeeper. I'm much more excited about the album now.

Agree with you, Ar-Pharazon! I wasn't so keen on the previous album "Neverworld's End", it wasn't bad, but I found the vocals to monotone to sit through the album more than a couple of times. The two new songs have made me really excited about the new album.

Another album I can't wait to pick up is the new Stream of Passion. Especially the first song of the following two is awesome! I personally consider them one of my favourite female fronted bands, but they tend to get overlooked a bit. Maybe because they are a bit more proggy than a lot of their fellow female fronted bands.

Also Savn and Epica, as I've mentioned before. Epica has been posted elsewhere, but here's the first official Savn video:

I love Carmen, who usually sings in Midnattsol (another overlooked band!). Well, it's no secret that Carmen and her sister Liv are two of my favourite females in metal.

I didn't see them mentioned in this thread already, apologies if they were and I missed it.

Arven - this song is "Believe"
