BRAVE NEW MEAT LOAF ALBUM TAKING SHAPE:
Meat Loaf has posted some album news on his website forum. From his comments we can deduce that the album will be called Braver Than We Are and will feature a "cover (sort of) of More by Sisters of Mercy.". Mr. Loaf also added "Jim (Steinman) is writing some new lyrics for it and it will rock..."
Further on Jim Steinman's involvement on the album, Meat Loaf added: "I am doing 8 other Jim songs...Plus 6 more songs!....Jim and I have been on line together for hours upon hours!! in the last 4 weeks!! The album is going to be great !"

I'm definitely interested. The last Meat Loaf album I heard was "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose", which was a much better album than I expected. I haven't heard "Hang Cool Teddy Bear" or "Hell in a Handbasket". Maybe I should check them out before the new one comes out.

"Hang Cool" and "Handbasket" are not very good, not even close to "Bat Out Of Hell III"

Meat & Jim are a great combination and every album I've heard without any Steinman compositions hasn't been very good.

This new album is likely to be half good, half not.
