Did you just nominate the Spice Girls in this thread??
Let me be clear by what I mean when I say "historic." I don't mean "groundbreaking" and I certainly don't mean "music that brought the music industry to a new low."
I'm looking for best album since the likes of what The Beatles or The Beach Boys, or Zeppelin put out in their heyday.
Ok, then. Now that I've made myself clear, we shall continue.
Seriously...

...hey, you don't ask a question and then dictate the terms on which other people give you a reply, I answer anyway I choose, not the way you want me to answer, so live with it. Your problem is that you didn't remotely make yourself clear, without you going back an editing it (and I'll be watching closely) show me exactly where in your original post that you said 'rock' album, and where you excluded any other pop genres etc? You even mentioned Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'. And anyway nothing is truly 'historic' until the passing of a great length of time judges it to be so, so actually your whole thread is just speculative period.
