Hello. To answer the first poster's question above, I found out about this site in a rock music thread on one of my vintage muscle car forums. A reply mentioned CRF so I decided to scope it out. Lurked briefly here for the past 2 weeks, discovered insightful conversion about rock music and other styles so I signed up.
My interest/enjoyment with music begins with the classic rock populated by the usual suspects - Beatles, The Who, Zep, Yardbirds, Alice Cooper, Roxy Music, Zombies, but there are many other music genres I've enjoyed immensely over the years. Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Prog Rock, pretty much a little bit of everything so it's difficult to choose a favorite.
Growing up, the radio or stereo was always on in the background around the house, mostly due to my hip older sister and brother. Between them, throughout the 70's, I enjoyed hearing all the great top 40-100 tunes on AM and later, the fading FM rock stations, thankfully before the Clear Channel rot conquered the airways. Albums, CD's, concerts, and now the web. Indeed, these are interesting times we live in.
