I have all of their albums, and I have to disagree with you Flower, they are an amazing band and have stood the test of time. They have changed their sound numerous times over their illustrious recording career, and still put on a great live show almost 4 decades after they started playing. Many other bands could learn a lesson on how to succeed in the cutthroat competitive music business from this threesome.

I wish I could like Rush since they're from the next big town over from my own home town but I've tried and I just can't get into the band's sound.

Their early sound is not nearly as polished as the albums after Fly By Night. When they released 2112, I think that was the beginning of the sound that I liked. But I do admit that it took Geddy Lee a while to find the Right vocal range, his early singing was more like screeching to me...lol.

I think I'm one of the few people who actually hate Rush with an extreme passion. Even hearing the name makes me angry inside. I don't even know why I hate them so much.

I like Rush, they continue to amaze me even now, one of the few bands that lasted and flourished throughout all the changes in the music landscape.
