OK, as many of you know I am no "well of information" as far as rock is concerened (50's, 60's, 70's and beyond) and would like to see if anyone has some "don't miss" selections. I am very comfortable in the genre's I am currently listening to and need my world shaken up a bit.:D

Bands or single songs from bands or both.

I am simply trying to diversify my collection and myself musically. I would like to thank anyone in advance for participating. There are tons of lists here but I'm curious what you would recommend a new ear....Look forward to the replies...:D
Thanks in advance.

I will leave the 60's to those experts in the field, the 70's onward were more my specialty Alocer. I like all kinds of music, but especially the hard rock/metal, so I'll wait till more of our friends post some of their suggestions before adding my choices.:)
