Yeah that's a good tune. Cool you got around to watching that interview man. How about it right?? It just seems like it was overboard on the jokes.

One time is funny, but he was just getting annoying.

I wanted to slap him after about 2 minutes with the constant cheap shots. some people are clueless when it comes to giving someone a 'playful ribbing'. That dude proved that point to a T.

But you gotta love when someone like this gets put in their place. He was the live example of the expression, "Wipe the smile from his face" :heheh:

You see how stone faced he got?? :wtf:

I LIKE the Bee Gees! I have not ever been embarrassed to admit that. Then again I don't feel guilty about any music I listen to and like.

They're funny guys and usually a great interview provided the interviewer isn't being a tosser like that guy above. Yikes. I used to be disappointed when they made TV appearances, only got to sing their song(s) and didn't get interviewed.

I think the VH-1 Storytellers was a great platform for them since they got to "tell their stories" between the songs. The Jive Talkin' clip is one of my favorites. ("If you did it 40 it just wasn't groovy enough.")

I watched a 2 hour episode on the Biography Channel last night about the Bee Gees, that was followed by an inside look at the making of Saturday Night Fever. Excellent show.

This was a feature video on the show, Excellent song, too.

I saw the Bee Gees Biography when it was first on A&E. Yes, that was an excellent one, two hours worth, very cool! I even recorded it to a VHS tape with my VCR. Maurice is definitely missed ...

What stood out the most to me in the biography story was how the 3 brothers talked about how stale their music had become by early 70's. They all 3 agreed that they were pumping out useless albums, one after the other.

Then, upon a suggestion by Eric Clapton, they moved to 461 Ocean Boulevard in Florida in 1975. This is where they discovered the art of falsetto and re-invented themselves into stardom again.

I also chuckled when Barry described their reaction to making the music for Saturday Night Fever..........they thought it was a joke.........instead it was the movie and music that defined disco.
