I always thought it was Freddy Mercury
I do agree with you Annie. For me also Freddy Mercury is the most energetic

lead singer I guess of all time. Too bad he not with us now. I do love this

guy!! He's one of the Best singers I've heard!! :)

David! He was a damn acrobat.

Axl Rose when he wasn't ranting had quite a bit of energy in the amount of dancing he did.

And Bruce Dickinson impressed me quite a bit on their Final Frontier tour, hard to believe he can still run all over the place and maintain his legendary vocals at his age. :grinthumb

Springsteen was the first person to come to my mind...

For me, hands down it's Bruce Springsteen (go figure) and he's still doing it 35 years later at the age of 62. I can show many videos that can attest to this but I know you won't watch them. However his stage presence is dynamic, energizing and engaging. He's all over the stage and in the audience. His marathon 3-4 hour concerts are explosive. I can't wait to see him in 2012!

This is Bruce 'crowd surfing' in 2009. The audience carried him from one end of the stage to the other and he was singing while they did it.. There's a video of this too.

Lee Brilleaux of Dr Feelgood was scary in his intensity and he smoked (cigarettes) like crazy. Sadly, he probably died as a result. But, does he count as an eighties singer? Maybe some of the most energetic singers, like George Hatcher, were from the seventies?

If Mick and Freddie are alright, so is Lee. Respect to you man for mentioning the main man himself. Mr Lee Brilleaux

^^^ One of my best friends introduced me to FTM but it's been a long long time since I've heard them. Theyre from Sulphur Springs TX and she knows them all personally. Country singer Miranda Lambert is from a couple of towns over and Ivoryline is from Tyler where I lived. Lots of talent from that area!
