If you can put together a supergroup using any musicians past or present, living or dead, who would you pick? You can also give the band a name if you'd like though that's optional.

Let's do 2 bands at a time.

I'll start :

Band Name - Sixpence

Rory Gallagher - Guitar, Vocals
Jack Bruce - Bass, Vocals
Clive Bunker - Drums

Band Name - King's Ransom

Ronnie James Dio - Vocals
Randy Rhoads - Guitar
Steve Harris - Bass
Carmine Appice - Drums

Stevie Wonder on vocals (and occasional harmonica of course)
John Deacon on bass
Tommy Iommi on lead guitar
Mike McCready on rhythm guitar
Jimmy Chamberlain on drums (sober version)

Band name Blind Sabbath

Dio on vocals (of course)
Richie Blackmore on Lead guitar
Neil Peart on Drums
Vincent Crane on Hammond
Ruud Weber jnr on Bass (he's the bass player with Snowy White - correct me if I am wrong Sox)

This line up will change daily as usual but Dio was a Classic vocalist :)

Some great ones, so far...I really like Sox and Garrett's bands...

As for me, I always wondered what it would of been like to hear EC and Jerry Garcia jam back in the 70's, so here's my band...

Eric Clapton - guitar and vocals
Jerry Garcia - guitar and vocals
Berry Oakley - bass guitar
Billy Preston - keyboards
Bill Ward - drums

And the band would be called ''Stone Soup'' :)
