^^That'll keep you busy and happy and out of trouble for a while Bucky...:heheh:

I am undecided about whether to get the new album or not.

I'd say you should, LG. It's the kind of album that longtime Alice Cooper fans have been wanting for sometime.

Wondering why the **** the new album wasn't in the shops, I am positive the album should be out in Australia too by now.

Awesome MP!^^^^^

I always liked this weird tune. The first time I heard it was on a radio show hosted by Jim Ladd called Innerview. One week his guest was Alice, & Ladd always had instrumental parts of songs looped in the background. I heard this song & thought it was just a generic piece of music. This was around '78 & for some reason record stores around me weren't carrying the first 2 Cooper records(& also Muscle of Love) so I didn't know they existed. Anyway, I found a used record store & picked up those 2 records & a used cassette of Muscle of Love & then I found out where Lay Down Die Goodbye came from. Man, first listen I couldn't believe those first 2 albums were Cooper albums! The only song that assured me it was Cooper was "Return of the Spiders"

I've got to agree with you Cosmic:cheers2 If you like the original Welcome to my Nightmare for both the story & the music you will like the new one as well.

I was thinking... It seems like this is built up as a follow-up to the original (in fact the Underature song that closes the new album is musical pieces from the 2 albums) but wasn't 'Goes to Hell' a follow up right after the original?

I created another playlist on the Ipod with the 2 Nightmare albums & Goes to Hell & last night while I had trouble sleeping with my back I hit random on the playlist & man did that sound great!!

Sorry to keep dragging on with this thread lately but I'm so fired up with the new album!

I was wondering how the stage production will be for the new album. I think besides her guitar playing credentials & previous work with Alice on American Idol maybe Orianthi was brought on tour to sing Ke$ha's part live.

I'll never forget when I first heard Welcome to My Nightmare around 1977 my friends & I would sit around & piece together what the movie would be like for it. Finally the movie played at midnight on a weekend & we were fired up waiting to see if we were right the way we thought things would happen &...it was a Concert Movie!! (Granted years later I found out there was a TV special with the album but it wasn't the movie we created in our minds)
