I've been reading this thread for like 3 hours and watching the vids - so many brilliant songs and covers - I love the Killers' Romeo & Juliet, and Bowie's Friday on My Mind - awesome!! I'm only new here so I hope I'm not gonna lower the tone or anything ... But I couldn't think of another one except this cover of John Paul Young's Yesterday's Hero by the Bay City Rollers... (covers ears against the snorts of derision...). I think it's kind of a cool song...
