^^ They played three tracks off of the new album EF and they sound really good.

DKWolf I have only just begun to scratch the surface with this band but as and when I shall be picking up some more gear, I have "Pawn Hearts" and "The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other". Good stuff IMO.

Here's my entire VDGG collection, have to admit it's been a long time since I listened to them. Have to squeeze them into the rotation somehow.

What a great band, nice to see some other fans on here, I love them and to see them live was a dream, (shame it wasn't in my local pub !!) They were blindin' mate I can tell you, I loved hearing "still life", there were some right characters there. I will remember that night for some time, will have to get the rest of their albums :)

The more I listen to VdGG, the more I like. They're a bit of a slow burner at first, it took me a few spins of Pawn Hearts to get used to Hamill's vocals but after I settled into it and listed to a couple of other albums I could see how good they are! :grinthumb

^^ I think I was the same Sal, I find the thing with albums that take a bit of work getting into pay off in the end and some even become firm favourites.

LG - What's the title of the new VDGG album Sweaty? A Grounding in Numbers. See my post page 1

Sal, that's when music gets rewarding. When you put a little effort into it. When music isn't instantly rewarding it gets better every time you play it!!

And that is the case with bands like VDGG and Gentle Giant as well.
