this isn't true...Janis was a very gifted singer/musician....she just wasn't all that pretty to look at.

Janis has been deceased for longer than I've been alive, I daresay it's no problem of hers. As for it being a problem for me, I don't see how it could be, even hypothetically.

I'm sure most of you guys here would find Donita Sparks gross. No reason for me to be mad about that or anythin'.

Not really. In my opinion, its not the outside that makes one pretty, its the inside. And based off her career, she is pretty.

It just depends on what one would consider to be truly pretty. Which in term would make it an opinion. I can understand what you're saying, but there are many different terms of what "being pretty" means. Though, I am in agreement with a few people here, sure she's not the best looking person to come into music, but her music makes up for that indefinitely.
