Us Weekly is reporting that the reason for the recent split between country singer/reality star/former famous mulletmeister Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish is that she had an affair with Poison front man Bret Michaels.
The 47-year-old rock singer released a duet with Miley Cyrus entitled “Nothing To Lose” last February, and a source close to the family tells the magazine that’s when Michaels “became close to the entire family.” 43-year-old Tish was spotted at Michaels’ February 28th concert at the Key Club in LA, and the musician also reportedly sought her production company’s help in making a movie from his book Roses & Thorns. “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more,” an insider said.
“Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on,” the unnamed source told Us Weekly. The singer, best known for his mega-hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” filed for divorce on October 27th. He is seeking joint custody of the couple’s three minor children.
Bret Michaels’ rep refuted the allegations, telling Us Weekly, ‘There has never been an affair or a fling.”
