@velvet.........I didn't know you had a fondness for the sounds of the south. You have named up a couple goodies, Dixie Dregs is decent. Hayseed Dixie made a really neat hillbilly tribute to AC/DC :good

Hayseed Dixie is a bit more blue grass than southern rock :D

No Charlie Daniels Band and Marshall Tucker Band has only one vote?

Anyway, for me it's the Allmans and Skynyrd, but they're a given and they'll top this poll anyway...so, I'll go with...

In the 70's the CDB and southern rock was huge, but sadly sometimes forgotten, somehow, nowadays...I guess it wasn't sexy enough.

That's cool...it's just I'm a huge Charlie Daneils Band fan. My first concert was the CDB with the New Riders of the Purple Sage opening the show. 1970 - 1979 Charlie Daniels put out some great albums. Love the CDB!
