What about Ted Nugent. I saw him live a good guitar player not much of a singer

True, I could make a long list, but I like Bruce Springsteen and the lead singer of AC/DC

i would have to say brian johnson from ac/dc
espically when recording

Actually Brian Johnson didn't emerge in AC/DC until 1980 (Back in Black) but I concur that his voice has gotten progressively worse with each album.

My choice for worst lead singer of a 70's rock band would be Bill Ward (drummer for Black Sabbath) with his two lead vocal performances on Technical Ecstasy's It's Alright and Never Say Die's Swinging the Chain. Although the latter is a pretty cool song.
