Sweet. Doors are one of the most resiliant bands in my collection, never falling below the highest level of awesomenes....

I like what zharth said about it, "The Doors took that kind of mystical soul-searching that everybody goes through, and they turned it into music."

I dunno how much of this new merchandise will catch my dollar (video games??) but I'll probably try to pick up at least one of the latest remastered versions of a Doors album 'cause I like remastered sound. I dunno which one I would pick though... maybe LA Woman since it's my favorite. Wait but they mentioned bonus tracks... I gotta get those... I wonder if any new songs will come out or if it will just be demos? Still, I love demos. Maybe I'll get the bonus tracks off of i-tunes or a similar service.

If I had to pick just one I would be deeply conflicted between the debut and Morrison Hotel.

Glad to see John Densmore is still around, I heard he was having health problems which made him unable to participate in the "New" Doors tours. They went through a few drummers there for a while, including Stewart Copeland.

I'd be reluctant to make a blanket statement about remastered product. I understand that a lot of remastering consists of accentuating the volume/strength of the midrange by clipping off the highs and the lows.

I have all six of the Doors studio albums together with four greatest hits compilations on vinyl. I'd still be willing to pick this one up though if it were released in SACD:

I'd like to see John Densmore back with the Doors.
