You have great taste SanguineRemedy..i used to do 'Music ins'..go to a house..tape black garbage bags over all the windows and doors- so day or night could not be determined...4 days was my record playing record...obviously chemicals had to keep me going!
This song by AR reminds me of such dedication to rock music.

To be honest i did'nt give myself a label as a
Prog fan in the 70's..just a music lover of all genrès..but when i tried to share the love of these two artists..folk were not receptive...more fool them!
Two 'hidden' prog LP's.
Manfred Mann- Chapter Three.

I went with 'Mirage' by Camel. One of my favorite 70s albums.
'Tarkus' is a very close second, and I also enjoy 'In The Land of Grey and Pink'.

Missed this thread somehow but I went with King Crimson...In The COurt Of the CRimson King....an early one and since that time my favorite.
I have all the lps on the list and like them all but many think the first KC lp might have started the prog album area in earnest even though there were proggy things earlier

Speaking on Floyd......I play Meddle more than any other lp by them....probably due to my college days with it. I also like the earlier psych ones as well.
I think Dark Side and Wish You Were Here are their best lps....always thought THe Wall would have been a better single lp. There are too many mediocre songs for a good dbl lp.
