If I were the son of Gene Simmons (which would be great fun), I'd ask Dad if I could sit in on all of his press interviews and media appearances because I'd crack up at all of the witty lines he delivers.
Such as these best-as-I-can-recollect paraphrases of some real monumental Simmons gems from various sources and publications over the years:
("I got hundreds of songs laying around in the vault that are as good as anything I ever wrote in Kiss. I could put out a record every week for the rest of my life and still probably not run out. So far I've simply chosen not to release them")
("Ace basically begged me for writing credits on Psycho Circus because of the various publishing benefits. His songs for the album weren't good enough so we had to do something. So I did what I've always done, I gave him credit for a few of mine and let him have them. That's how you keep people in Kiss and happy.")
