So.. if you could be the offspring of a rock star who wud it be? And why?

There are a few, but these would be the top 2:

#1) the son of George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, various other projects), in hopes that I either would inherit is guitar skills or that he'd teach me to play like him (yeah I know, some things can't be taught)

#2) the son of Gene Simmons. Seriously. Say what you will about his personality, the one you see in front of the cameras and microphones, but I tell you what, he sure seems to absolutely love and adore his family. He treats them like royalty. He's not a druggie or a drunk. I really doubt he's mistreated anyone in his family (and that's an assumption based on what I've seen, know what I know as fact). I think he'd be a pretty cool dad.

I agree with Lynch on Gene Simmons.. Plus you get to make fun of him and he lets it roll off him..

Also I think Paul Stanley would make a cool dad.. He's kind of down to earth and is cool..

I wouldn't mind being Sammy Haggars son.. The dude has some smarts when it comes to planning a life in investing in things and coming out mega rich!1 And he's alright in my book!!

For any rock star to be my Dad, he would have to be pretty old these days. Knowing my mom, she would have done ole Blue Eyes ( Frank Sinatra ) in a hearbeat. It would be cool to have a "rat pack" member for a dad.


But since this is MY choice for a pappy.......I would choose Robert Plant. He has some strong genetics that produce good looking kids

my kids really like Buddy Holly. That is due to me playing Buddy Holly songs for them when they were toddlers. They are now both 4 years old.

I've spent several minutes thinking of this and I can't think of any musician that I'd prefer to be a parent of mine, because I'm always dribbling over how beautiful the whole lot them are. This question is impossible for those prone to girlish swooning. ;D

Devin Townsend
Conor Oberst
Bruce Dickinson

I'll have to think about this some more though, I have a hunch that i'm forgetting one or two that are blatantly obvious.
