I've always heard Roger was a big d-bag... David Gilmour is THE man from Pink Floyd.

I've never heard anything bad about Gilmour other than from a few goofy (and most likely medicated) Syd fans. As for Roger, I've heard both that he's ok and that he's kind of dink-ish.

I don't put much credence into what I "hear" about artists either. I know he's difficult to work with but most perfectionists are.

When we asked him if we could get some pictures he told us, from the bottom of the ramp about 50 feet away, that he had to do a soundcheck and he'd be back in an hour, we pretty much figured that was it, but about an hour later he came strolling up the ramp. Pretty impressive after what I had "heard" about his relationship with fans.

That's pretty cool. I'm sure I would have given up. But definitely cool you guys stuck around AND he came back. The fruit of all of that sitting around is in your first post as well as the memories.
