Probably because a lot of people don't like Hold Your Fire and even if they did, compared to the other albums of course it wasn't going to get many votes.
I did but many people don't like it.
The popular album isn't always the better/best album. To each his own.:grinthumb

I find Moving Pictures to be extremely over rated to be honest. The albums earlier I found to be way better.

With lovers, buggers, & thieves.
I still can't believe that "Hold Your Fire" hasn't gotten anymore votes yet!:wtf:... ...Every track off of "Hold Your Fire" is excellent & will always remain on my iPod & in its Playlists. Period!

I feel you, really. I mean, did you see what my fav album was? Hey, most people just don't see what we see in these albums. That's OK though. Hold Your Fire isn't one of my favs either, but when Time Stand Still, Open Secrets, Prime Mover, Mission, or High Water come around on my Rush mix playlist I am happy! :heheh:

I enjoyed Hold Your Fire better than Power Windows and Moving Pictures to be perfectly honest.

Yeah because music (my vast collection in particular) brings out love, intensity & passion. Considering that, I'm very much in love with my music, am passionate about the emotion(s) & feeling(s) I get from it & give it intense, dominant credit in order to share my feelings for the music with others. I think that basically explains some of its importance to me to an extent. Gotta love it!

Fly By Night by a pretty good margin. The first album (1974) and Moving Pictures would be next in line but neither compare to Fly By Night as far as I'm concerned. There is absolutely no fluff on the album with epic compositions along with kick ass rockers.
