Dr. Demento? :D Weird Al? :eek:hyeah: Jug Band Jubilee? :heheh: Pat Boone's In a Metal Mood? :lmao:

I still have Dr. Demento and Weird Al on my download "to do" list from iTunes and I burned a cd with 27 different versions of "Louie Louie", but the only genuinely kooky album I own is "The Temple City Kazoo Orchestra".

Released on the heels of "Some Girls" in 1978, this album is titled "Some Kazoos" and they perform a kazooed version of Miss You, as well as Whole Lotta Love, Stayin' Alive and Also Sprach Zarathustra. Available on K-Tel Classics, order yours today!

And now... live from the Temple City Moose Hall in Temple City, California...

And here they are on The Mike Douglas Show. :heheh:

Can't say I'm much of a kooky album fan...novelties wear quickly for me. Probably the kookiest albums I own are Tenacious D ones, though they have the bonus of being good music as well!

At work so I can't search for too much--but I have a Butchered Beatled CD that's pretty strange. Cover songs by the likes of William Shatner, Mae West, Bing Cosby and others.
