What Did Your Parents Listen To?

My mom listened to a lot of Tom Jones, Dean Martin, & George Jones. She also had a Gary Lewis & the Playboys album. I knew every song by heart on that album. She bought me & my brother 8 tracks of Gary Wright & Average White Band when we were younger. She didn't know what to get so she asked the guy in the record store. I was probably 14 at the time.

My dad listened to both kinds of music, Country and Western, and my mom doesn't really like music except as background noise. Up until high school when one of my friends gave me a cd with AC/DC and Rob Zombie on it, George Thorogood and Lynyrd Skynyrd was the hardest thing I'd ever heard.
