Saw the 'machine' and it's Bunnymen several times...their sound ages very well:
The album Crusader by Saxon was very very popular among us.
I've played it thousands of times.
This band belted out some tunes...late 80's:
Turbonegro - We're Gonna Drop The Atom Bomb.
Manowar - Fighting The World
This album marked our final years in high school.
Accept were among the top 5 rulers of the decade.
After Nuggets was re-released on Sire..in the uk, folks were hungry for Standells & then some. Pebbles albums came out..and gave comprehensive insights into obscure garage stateside music...driven on by a whole 60's vibe thing goin' on.
Waged and single it was prime porky cut time for ordering masses of vinyl to my Mum who was at home whilst i worked..this was pre Fed Ex or UPS..you could wait a month for that Beefheart bootleg!
This was an 80's outfit i dug at the time:
Beasts Of Bourbon - Psycho.
( an old song.)
Def Leppard - Rock Rock Till You Drop (1983)
This is one of the first songs that grabbed me for the cause of Hard&Heavy music.
Constantly on my cassette player during the decade.
I was a habitual club goer..in Nottm and Rotterdam.
The Cure - Lets Go To Bed.
These seem untapped on 'ere...quality Sydney sounds.
The Lime Spiders - Weirdo Libido.
The Foo's did it.. but the Furs were first:
