The Notting Hillbillies is a great record, luv it;
Catch a Fire superb and the deluxe has the great Wailers Live at Leeds '73; Carlos and
Buddy good record and a hot one in its prime;
any Steely is good Steely ... rrock on!!!

This is one different Stones performance, but by
no means is it bad, not at all. One of the coolest
versions of Honky Tonk yet; like most of the set
its chunky, funky and the guitars howl and squawk w/ delight... just a pretty fun listen.
Also a great doc of Ron Wood's live start w/ the Stones... he and Keith are locking horns and the energy has Jagger singing like a struttin' rooster.

First time listen on this, Plant's voice a little rough at first, but the audio recording is very excellent. Most all the live I've heard from this year is great, unlike some of '73 and '77.

This Guy... never could get over the hump on
a mass level, but that's part of his charm I
suppose. Great frontman and band, Brinsley
Schwartz... was lucky enuf to see him way back on his Squeezing Sparks tour... it gets no better. Parkerilla is a good one.
