Australia, working in the EU right now!
If Ray and Dave were the first punks and Lou was the first punk street rapper,
then these guys, BOC were the pre-cursers of bloody, wild death metal. They
moved on the New Year like well, dizzbusters, jumped 1972's virgin bones.
I remember reading an ad in Circus Mag, half o' page or so and thought
wth... of course I bought it. My goodness, songs of bitten faces, Altamount-evil,
screams in the nigth, and all other holy hell was unleashed. And rock n' roll once
again was never the same... Lester Bangs called it NY city's first 'boogie beast'
and 'they would be around awhile'. I liked the early output, but especially the
first two.

B.O.C. is really a fantastic rock band. Their arrangements and melodies have been imitated but not licked. Eric Bloom is a unique frontman who really believes in what he is singing.

Produced by Sandy Pearlman who had a hand in early BOC. One of
my favorites of 1984... Steve Wynn and Karl Precoda lay down a
sheer wall of electric meltdown. Check out the guitar break in the
middle of JOhn COltrane StereO Blues.

I got some John Coltrane on the stereo baby
Make it feel all right
I got some fine wine in the freezer mama
I know what you like

I said a man works hard all day
He can do what he wants to
At night

A psychedelic masterstroke from the west coast Paisley Underground,
Third Rail Emergency Power Trip; the additional ep, Explosions in the
Glass Palace was a weird dream mix of Syd Barrett and Buffalo Springfield.
Guitarist Roback would go on to form Mazzy Star a decade later.
