Does that mean you find it noticeably weaker than any of the previous ones? I ask because I think it's easily as good as any of the bands past records. I think the band always manages to keep a certain level of quality. That doesn't mean it's my favourite Gov't Mule record, I just find all of them so good, it's damn hard to pick one or two out in a negative sense. Does that answer your question @joker1961?
It's as close as you can get to The Black Crowes these days. Right off the bat, you'll notice the familiar Crowes guitar sound. I know it's just a covers album, but I cannot praise it enough. Going to be a strong contender for album of the year for me.
