Man I forgot about this great BA album. His later stuff ruined the excellent early albums :grinthumb

I know, really?! :)

I blame the Robin Hood movie theme for ruining Bryan Adams, as everything after that was blaah, then just lame. It's my opinion that Mutt Lang meddled too much in the writing (album: Waking Up The Neighbors). Bryan's style had, up to and including '87's Into The Fire been straight foreward, no-frills basic rock and roll. Lang, in his typical fashion, cleaned up BA too much, and gave the songs a big Def Leppard drum sound which was waay too big for a Bryan Adams album.

I have Cuts Like A Knife, Reckless, and Into The Fire all on vinyl.

Home by Sylvan (2015)

This is the limited edition mediabook version, on compact disc.

When I discovered it is getting very hard to find any physical form of this album, I grabbed this as soon as I could.
It was only officially released in Europe.

Sylvan are a neo-progressive rock band from Hamburg, Germany.

This is a concept album about "...the never ending quest of the human condition for “home” – that very special place that can provide a feeling of complete safety."

The story is told through the eyes of a woman, which somehow adds another level to the thing, seeing as it is sung by a man.

This is one of those albums that you really need to listen from start to finish. No prob, as this thing is a true work of art!
