I know, really?!
I blame the Robin Hood movie theme for ruining Bryan Adams, as everything after that was blaah, then just lame. It's my opinion that Mutt Lang meddled too much in the writing (album:
Waking Up The Neighbors). Bryan's style had, up to and including '87's
Into The Fire been straight foreward, no-frills basic rock and roll. Lang, in his typical fashion, cleaned up BA too much, and gave the songs a big Def Leppard drum sound which was waay too big for a Bryan Adams album.
I have Cuts Like A Knife, Reckless, and Into The Fire all on vinyl.
