We had a frost this morning, but it's currently mild.

Still warm here, should be about -8 Celsius this afternoon, and we're supposed to get some snow. I was taking advantage of the warm weather yesterday to go into Edmonton and do some shopping at some of my favorite music stores, but when I was in the merge lane to the Yellowhead highway the traffic was backed up for 2+ miles, so I made a right turn into the ditch and got on a secondary road and went back home. They've been working on a series of overpasses for two years now as they complete our ring road, but I've never seen traffic slowed that much before, I'll bet more than one driver was fuming.

Last night Styx came over to play.

All vinyl and then I finished with one of the best albums ever recorded on wax, Jerry Harrison's "Casual Gods". You can get a new copy of this one from Soundstage Direct in Pennsylvania, I did and every time I play that album it knocks my socks off.

Last night it was a few bottles of Kokanee pilsner and one fine Belgian beer, and I feel fine this morning as I drink my coffee.

Key to enjoying a night out(or at home) and having a few drinks is hydrating a couple days before and eating a really good meal before you start partying.
