That sucks, Lynch! Why not stop or at least reduce use of medication? I prefer going for natural remedies as and when possible.

As for what I've been listening to...

Yesterday at the gym:

And this morning on the way to work: (yet again)

Yes... I'm on a major Prodigy kick! :hb:

-30 Celsius this morning, supposed to warm up a bit later, nothing unusual this is the coldest time of year for us generally and we had a 3 week spring break in December. Very rare will you see the Eastern part of North America get colder weather than we do, it does happen every once in a while to remind everyone we are not a tropical paradise.

I don't think I have ever experienced -30C. The southern coast of England has a mild climate and turns us southerners into softies.

I thought it was bad here, last night, but footage of the West Country (Porthleven in Cornwall) on TV has shown the gales to be horrendous, creating a vortex in harbours and destroying railway lines, roads, boats, homes, etc.

The problem is the government have made out flooding conditions to be a freak of nature, when the truth is they have not been funding the Environment Agency to dredge rivers. Same applies to coastal defences. Also, privatised water companies have been pocketing the profits instead of clearing the drains.

^^Water management should never be left to private companies, that's just wrong. You can hire them to do small jobs for you but the maintenance and infrastructure should always be done by the local municipal authorities.

I saw the news about the storms hitting the west coast, Cornwall and Wales looks really serious. We used to love big storms living on Vancouver Island, we'd go to Point Holmes and watch the waves pound the rocks, and even stand and lean into the wind which would hold you up.
