I've just looked Livin' Blues up on Wiki, but the article is in Dutch and doesn't translate well. I noticed thay have a Golden Earring connection, so I'll have to delve deeper. I've often wondered what other bands like Brainbox and Cuby and the Blizzards are like.

Brainbox, the albums with Jan Akkerman are very good. After he left it is a bit less interesting.
