^^^ I'm afraid that song is going to sound lame on almost any day of the year. At least it served as a good history lesson, although the Pan Am reference isn't totally correct. 5/10.

I actually listened to that Train song too. Is it from their newest album because I have that album a listen earlier this year and thought it had a definite country vibe to it that I was hearing in that song.
There are rockers out that that would consider Loverboy "lame". I am not one of those people, however I can see where that claim could be made based purely on their biggest single. I would consider that song to have about the same level of cheese as "Macho Man" or "Physical" in the form of a rock song and that's ok in the right, fun setting. Most of the time though I'm not crazy about it. 5 out of 10.
