Still in the upper 90's, but it feels like a cool front compared to the lower 100's earlier.

The hot weather in the US has been reported here. It sounds just awful and with no end in sight apparently Also millions of people without electricity!!

Yeah, usually we are the ones who are getting the worst in Texas...but the Central U.S. is getting it worse than us.

^^Great record, I have 4 different versions of that one Phil.

Listening to another Steely Dan CD, "Katy Lied". This one has a funny background story, according to legend both Fagen and Becker were not happy with the production quality of the finished record, which is contrary to many "industry people" who thought it was one of the best sounding albums of all time. Anyway they recorded their hardest/edgiest album "The Royal Scam" next and then came "Aja" and "Gaucho" and both of those are among the best engineered records ever done.

I know but I love digging up this stuff.

I live in one of the "coldest" states in the U.S. Well, in the winter it is. In the summer, it's just as bad as anywhere else. The humidity is what kills me more than the heat.

The Land of Sky Blue Waters? One of the "coldest" states in the U.S.? Sounds like you're from my home state of Minnesota, or a state near by.

Yep, born, bred and raised in MN and have lived here most of my life, aside from a couple of years in college when I lived in Packer-land for a couple of years.
