and very nice on one of my favorite Mountain lps @Cadleson...Waiting to
Take You Away always takes my breath away as Leslie W wails his
heart out. I saw West, Bruce and Laing shortly after this release;
too many Marshall amps to count.
I love comeback trilogies and there are many, Bowie's Berlin trio, EC's
understated mid-70s trio of classics etc, but my favorite may have
been Dylan's turn of the century start, TOOM, followed by this one and
Modern Music. This stuff is timeless elegant americana greatness, full
of power, grace and value w/ no wrong notes and not a wasted breath.
