It's pretty chilly here, luckily it's not raining. I live in the south west of the UK, which has been really badly affected by floods over the past couple of weeks, it hasn't rained for around a week now and one of the roads out of my village is still flooded. The other day I met up with a couple of friends in Bristol, they'd driven down from Exeter where I was at uni last year because all the train stations down there are flooded, so many of my old haunts are completely cut off and underwater, even the university library flooded and that's halfway up a hill! It's so heartbreaking, I'm so glad I got off pretty lightly at home!

I had a bit of a splurge the other week and bought Aerosmith's Music From Another Dimension, KISS' Monster, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Last of a Dyin' Breed, Europe's Bag of Bones and Richie Sambora's Aftermath of the Lowdown. I was so excited when they all arrived in the post! I Don't think I can justify splashing out on any more at the moment now, so I might ask for Joe Bonamassa's Driving Towards the Daylight and Van Halen's Different Kind of Truth for Christmas
