Re: Rate The Song Above You II

^^^ A Steely Dan reference to the Mayans? Hmmm.

This isn't even near to being their best work but I'll still give it an 8/10.

And since I like to build on themes...

I have never known a single pothead who was a productive member of society. Not ever, not even one.

I'm not saying they don't exist, but all of the pot enthusiasts I've known have been losers who just want to sit around listening to rap music or play video games and can't hold a job for their life.

Legalize it, tax it, use the money generated to fix infrastructure and other important things, take organized crime out of the picture and eventually it will become no better or worse than going to a bar and having a drink.

Pot should have been legalized ten years ago, wait a minute we Tried that in my country and the US absolutely freaked out on us so it was shelved.:nw:

If they're going to legalize it, they better apply the same laws when it comes to DUI's, since marijuana has been shown to have negative effects on driving as well as short term memory.

There are also ongoing tests concerning fears that long term use increases the chances of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression.

We have too many lazy, stupid morons in this country. Don't give them pot!

Perhaps our government should stop rewarding the stupid and entitled, then they wouldn't feel the need to legalize drugs to tax and pay off debts.

^^There is No Winning this battle for the authorities, the War on Drugs started with Reagan and there are More drugs than ever before available on the US streets now than before all this insanity.

It didn't work with alcohol, it hasn't worked with drugs people will find it legally or illegally. The same percentage of folks who can't control their drinking will smoke too much that's just human nature.

Time to step out of the dark age, control the market make money that helps society and let our law enforcement officials concentrate on solving serious crime.

Legalizing will do nothing but make it more plentiful and easier to access, making even more stoners. I just think there are already too many morons in this country. Don't give them something that studies have shown can inhibit learning, focus and memory.

I just think people should strive more for learning and developing as human beings rather than crap like this. I hate people who just want to sit around and get high.

Alcoholism, pot, etc... IMO all ways of "self medicating" for other issues. Look at all of the issues alcohol causes. I hardly ever drink. Having no or limited control over my mind is something I don't care for.

The war on drugs argument is moot point when it comes to pot. If we're going to say that then we may as well legalize cocaine, heroin, meth, etc too.
